Mr. Cooper brings 32 years of experience in the financial services industry to Core Pacific Advisors, and as a former financial advisor and tax professional brings a unique perspective to the team.  Mr. Cooper brings 20 years of capital markets experience in sales and distribution, national accounts, operations, and due diligence.  To date, he has raised in excess of $700 million in private placement and alternative investments, including 1031 exchange; Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs); debenture, land banking, real estate entitlement and development, and hospitality offerings. He is also responsible for the operations and management of all 1031 exchange closings for our investors.  Mr. Cooper honed his client service and negotiating skills in his early tax practice, specializing in income tax preparation, and planning for both individuals and businesses, and gained a reputation for successfully representing his clients’ interests in federal and state tax audits.  Mr. Cooper has also served as a registered investment advisor, with areas of focus on wealth, tax and estate planning for high-net-worth clients, and business financial analysis.  Prior to his work in the financial services industry, Mr. Cooper was a Class A golf professional at PGA West Resort in La Quinta, CA. He earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas with a concentration in real estate and holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. He is also an active field qualified volunteer with the San Diego Sheriff Search & Rescue Team.
