John R. Saunders

For the past four decades, Mr. Saunders has distinguished himself as a preeminent figure in the commercial real estate sector in Orange County, California. Utilizing his proactive management skills, he has amassed a diverse portfolio of real estate assets valued at over $1.5 billion. These properties are strategically located across various states, including California, Oregon, Nevada, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Montana, Hawaii, and Florida, with the majority situated in his principal base, Orange County.


Outside his real estate pursuits, Mr. Saunders is an esteemed collector and dealer of ancient and rare coins in North America, with a particular interest and impressive collection of Dutch Coins and Medals. This hobby underscores his varied interests and dedication to the conservation of historical pieces.


In the 1970s, Mr. Saunders held the position of Assistant Treasurer at American Express Bank, distinguishing him as one of the youngest officers in the institution at that period. His illustrious career highlights his versatile skill set and adaptability across diverse fields.


Educationally, Mr. Saunders holds a BS in Mathematics from Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida, and an MBA from The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. Demonstrating his continued dedication to education and his alma mater, he remains actively involved with Eckerd College as a major trustee, contributing to the institution's growth and development.
